“ Cafe Beignet serves up some impressive beignets. They arrive piping hot, generously dusted with powdered sugar, and boast a delightful flavor. I complemented my treat with a satisfying cup of coffee, which also hit the spot. I'll certainly be returning for more. ”
“ Absolutely delicious. Went in on a Sunday at 9am, no one inside. Met with the owners and they were so kind. Beignets were spectacular. It got very busy even while I waited, so expect a line. Fantastic place, 5/5 recommend. ”
“ I loved the beignets and coffee. Great service too. Didn’t have to wait long for two orders of beignets, and they were piping hot. ”
“ The beignets are absolutely incredible! The young lady at the counter is very attentive and nice, but not overly so. We waited over 10 mins for fresh beignets, but I understand, they were fairly busy and we had at least 4 orders ahead of us (1 was call ahead, and he walked right in to pick up his order - highly recommended.) Everything is made to order, so the beignets were hot and ready to eat. The filled beignets are just vanilla pudding (as stated on the menu) but I wanted to try them anyway. Could have done without the filling. Very messy and just ok. We also had regular beignets for my wife and she thoroughly enjoyed them. One is not enough, 3 is too many, so I recommend getting 2 orders and find a couple of friends to enjoy them with!! ”
“ Loved the beignets. Reminded me of New Orleans. We tried the plain and filled beingets. Both were wonderful, but plain is my favorite. The chef and server were extremely nice and friendly. ”
“ The food was so good. Coffee was good too ”
“ Never had or heard of a Beignet before coming to Orange Beach. Ms. Tammy, the waitress, is a treasure and sure knows what she’s talking about-add some jam or Nutella, and who even cares about doughnuts!? The drip coffee was better than anything Starbucks will sell you. If you’re visiting, I’d advise you come here daily! ”
“ This place is a hidden gem that unfortunately probably doesn’t get the attention of 95% of vacationers. I only noticed it because my wife was getting her nails done at a salon a few doors down. The beignets are delicious and the staff is warm and welcoming! They are now on our list of stops while in OBA! ”
